CASE STUDY

The first challenge for this 100 PAX project was the multiple destinations from which our guests arrived. Taking advantage of the well-connected international airports of Larnaca and Paphos, the ground-operation team of HWE seamlessly executed a well planned transfer schedule to the brand new Cap. St. Georges Resort.

 

The Cap. St. Georges, located in the western end of the island, offers the absolute 5-star experience in Cyprus. With more than 160 luxury rooms and suites (the panoramic Villas are not taken into consideration!), 5 restaurants, private beach and huge pool-area, this new property will be the new best seller for the Cyprus MICE world!

On day one, we introduced our guests to a beautiful and traditional evening in the wine-making areas of Cyprus. The experience could not get more authentic from the wine tasting function in the stone-build terrace of a family owned winery and bistro. Ofcourse, a generous Cyprus style dinner followed!

 

The next day found us enjoying the Mediterranean with a half day luxury private cruise! Our guests enjoyed the beauty of the Akamas National Forest and the Blue Lagoon bay. Taking in the sun and soaking in the beautiful waters of Cyprus, created the best appetite – which was satisfied by a Honeywell Events tailored on-board lunch!

 

The final event, introduced our guests to the history of this magical island. This is one of our favourite functions to organise – a black-tie gala dinner at the ancient temple of Aphrodite. The food was delicious, the entertainment programme exciting but most importantly our international guest wined and dined amongst some of the most important ancient ruins in the island!
