It has been tough, however Cyprus handled it successfully!
Despite the high increase and continuation of the global spread of coronavirus, Cyprus has succeeded in bringing down the daily cases of Covid-19 to a trickle. The health authorities reported that, cases have been kept in single-digit figures for the last few weeks, following a week of fluctuating rates of coronavirus, making Cyprus your favourite and one of the safest destinations for your next event.
Taking into consideration the excellent results with Covid-19 cases, the health authorities have announced the increase on the number of persons in open-air venues (squares, amphitheaters etc) for cultural events up to 350 pax, always maintaining the necessary social distancing and all the mandatory corresponding health and safety guidelines (protocols).
Furthermore, arrival flights to Larnaca and Paphos International Airports are increasing on a daily basis, as well as the number of tourists from many European countries and other destinations, which are included in the list of countries, as per their epidemiological evaluation.
In addition, the list of countries travelling to Cyprus is being updated frequently by the Ministry of Health, based on the epidemiolocal indicators of each country. At this moment, thirty-four countries are able to travel to Cyprus. Only passengers coming from Category B countries with possibly low-risk but greater uncertainty, are required to undergo a laboratory Covid-19 test within 72 hours prior to their departure and to process a certificate showing negative PCR examination for the virus.
