On Friday, 3rd July, it was announced by the Minister of Health that, as from August 1st, UK will be upgraded in Category B, the travellers of which need to provide negative Coronavirus tests upon arrival, provided of course its epidemiological profile continues being positive.
The Coronavirus test should be taken 72 hours, the latest, prior to travelling and it should be taken in the country of origin. However, the Health authorities at the two Cyprus International airports will continue conducting random tests on passengers from Category A countries.
In relevant of the category each country belongs to, all the inbound passengers are required to present, prior to boarding, a ‘flight pass’, in order to be able to fly to Cyprus.
Below you may find the countries of origin, divided into the two Categories, A and B, based on the internationally available epidemiological data. The list of countries in each category, will be reviewed and reevaluated on a weekly basis.
